It’s been a difficult start for 2020 for all parts of the world. These times remind us how much we take for granted on a daily basis. I never realized how fortunate I was to spend an afternoon at a coffeeshop with a friend or how lucky it is to be able to have family dinners on Sundays at my parents’.
I’ve been at home for the nineteenth day in a row now, talking mostly to my dog and going outside the house only for a quick run to the grocery store. It’s a tough blow emotionally and financially, but one quick thought is all it takes to remind myself that we’re doing this to keep our families and communities safe, to keep the virus from spreading and causing more pain and most important of all, for everyone to return to normal life as soon as possible. No matter who you are, where you are, we’ll get through this if we are together. #stayhomesavelives
With so much time on my hands, I’ve dug up some old footage of a trip to Japan a few years ago. Here’s a new travel video of old, happier times to distract everyone from the current situation, even if it’s only for a few blissful minutes.
