Living in Montreal, Canada, a large metropolitan city, it is easy to forget that even after the millenium has passed, some of us still live in much more remote conditions. Not everything is neon lights and sounds of car tires on asphalt, and sharp images on fancy slim screens.
I followed my travel buddy and good friend Lisa back to her parents’ family home in Guangzhou, mainland China for a couple of days.
